Professor Lucy Ganje has been teaching at the University of North Dakota since 1988. Originally a faculty member of the School of Communication, she joined the Art Department to build a new graphic design program in 2004. Ganje received her BA at Black Hills State University and her MFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. In addition to establishing the Art Department’s BFA program in Graphic Design and New Art Media, Ganje is the founder of UND’s Native Media Center and also teaches classes in the Indian Studies Department. She has published articles on the design of Native American newspapers and the impact of Reservation newspapers on community race relations.

Assistant Professor Lindsey Brammell received her BFA's from California College of the Arts and her MA from San Francisco State University, both in San Francisco, California. Brammell received her MFA from the University of North Dakota. She has taught at the Academy of Art University and San Francisco State University. She has worked in various graphic design firms with clients like Safeway, Rite Aid, Restoration Hardware, and Ellen Chaffee, Democratic candidate for Lieutenant Governor. She is the founder of Ladybird Design Lab, a graphic and web design boutique. Lindsey Brammell has been an Assistant Professor of Graphic Design and Web Design at the University of North Dakota since 2012.

As a founder of the company, Ad Monkeys, Scott Telle has overseen the visual aspects of Ad Monkeys from the get-go. His role as Createive Director has earned the agency nearly 50 Addy awards, plus the industry's coveted Telly Award. Scott also serves as an Account Executive, with a portfolio that spans twenty years and features clients in healthcare, finance, and higher education.

Nicole Derenne instructs undergraduate and graduate courses in graphic design history, art history, and feminist art history. Derenne manages programs including art festivals, art walks, granting programs, professional development programs, and online cultural events calendars. She works with Board of Directors to create strategic plans on fiscal management of organization and on staff development. Derenne networks with regional leaders to promote the arts and is an advocate for the arts throughout the community.
